I personally have been on our committee for 16 years and over that period we have dealt with 6 caterers and I can sincerely say all feedback we’ve received about Catering Catering from members and visitors alike has only been positive.

On Saturday evenings your menu has hit the spot by providing ample variety and well priced generous servings, all are enjoying the great value. Also the catering provided for our large functions was excellent in the past, with other caterers we’ve experienced the embarrassing nightmare of running out of food, we had no fears of this with Catering Catering, again the committee only received compliments about the meals and service.

The service on the day was outstanding. Willie and Alma were professional and friendly. With nearly 65 people here it was a bit chaotic and I was just off a flight from Europe. They managed everything from setting up to cleaning up and were almost invisible to everyone here. The food was fantastic.

Hi Alma, thanks for your catering on Saturday. It was a blast and we loved every single heartbeat minute of it. I might be biased but it was the best wedding I have ever been too also!
Like all weddings you don’t get a second chance so it is with trepidation that we selected a caterer which we hoped that would provide a meal that our guests would truly savour and enjoy and to our budget.
Well you did just that with the acid test were our guests commenting unprompted of how lovely the food and selection was.
It was great too that you were happy that we provided the finger foods at the start and finger deserts at the end as it enabled us to provide sufficient food though out the entire night (4-12) within our budget and to a high standard.
The soup (minestrone) was lovely and the meats salads/
/veges were yum
Also your personalities and great customer service were commented upon so well done. It appeared you worked in well with our serving staff (friends 2 young daughters) which again made things uncomplicated and hic-cup free.

So…well done, lovely to “meat” you and yes we thoroughly recommend your company.

For our wedding we didn’t want fuss and frills. Our friends and families are mostly hard working country people and “townie” professionals. We needed to find a middle line to cater for everyone’s tastes. Merv and Glenys succeeded with a menu that left everyone with a full tummy and just enough leftovers for a feast at breakfast. Their warm happy personalities and those of their staff made everyone feel welcomed and special as they mingled inconspicuously filling glasses and plates with seconds and a few third helpings. We have no hesitation in recommending these wonderful people as people who just complete your day….whatever your occasion may be. We will certainly be keeping them busy in our future plans. Rex and I would like to thank you, Merv, and your staff for an absolutely perfect meal. The catering and menu were so scrumptious! We had nothing but compliments from all our guests for the food – as well as the entertaining – and already we have email requests for a 21st to send your name and site and approximate prices, which we have done, with sincerity and pleasure. I may have been a little out by how much our guests could eat – but with the desserts, there were no more than 8 left! It was good also of you to pack the delicious leftovers in suitable parcels, because our committee helpers snapped them all up! But I made sure I made off with the desserts. We may not wait 10 years for the next celebration!
I did get about 14 quotes, but only 3 of them – yours among them – had actually read exactly what we wanted. And yours had the excellent suggestion, which we took up, of finger desserts being served later when the helpers made the tea and coffee. Your menu also had the wide variety of choice in mains, vegetables and salads – and having the starters was also an excellent idea, as some guests would have to wait a little longer for serving. Calling us table by table also avoided the queues. Thank you, it was faultless and very happy for us and our guests.

Well where to start, I normally cater myself, it takes a week of prep, shopping, then juggling the domestic oven to get everything ready on time. Plus decorations, music, ice, seating, well you all now the drill.
This time I wanted to enjoy the occasion; hubby’s 50th Birthday Bash.
I took a punt and phoned Merv; it was so easy, pick your menu, pay, then forget about it. They turned up on time, so well prepared, the food was homemade, fresh, actually better than I could have done myself. The staff were ab fab, friendly and accommodating, we only had our dining area available, they made it work, and smiled the whole time.
We will definitely be using the service again, and would highly recommend the team.
