Catering Catering Limited is owned by Glenise & Merv Pratt and we are both involved in the business on a daily basis (and in the Christmas season on a nightly basis as well!). In 2009 we bought a company operating as a Caterer in Auckland, specialising in Spitroast and BBQ Menus. We’ve now changed our name to Catering Catering and while we’ve tweaked our menus a little we are still offering the same delicious Spitroast and BBQ menus to greater Auckland and surrounds. More importantly we still have the same amazing team providing the great service we have become known for! (If you don’t believe us check out what people are saying under “Happy Clients”).

Let’s cut to the chase – our philosophy is simple.

Have a great team of people who enjoy their job; be there for our clients (again and again in many cases) and keep things simple. We often receive complimentary feedback from clients who comment on how stress free it has been organising their event with us. We have had Weddings which have been as simple as

1. An enquiry via our website.
2. A reply email from us with a simple order form to be completed and
3. A final telephone call a week before the Wedding to finalise details. Easy eh!

That said, we still get a kick out of watching a nervous mother in law relax once she sees our team arrive and swing into action.

WE SPECIALISE IN SPIT ROAST, BBQ AND ALL EVENT CATERING.

Oh yeah – and of course the food! We use only prime products in our menus (our meat supplier knows that he’s not the cheapest in town) but also knows that poor quality product will not be accepted (and to be fair this has never been an issue).

We really pride ourselves on looking after our customers and doing everything we can to accommodate their requests. It is becoming more common for guests to have dietary requirements such as allergies, lifestyle specific choices or driven by religious beliefs. That’s why we make all our own salads in house. That is also why our Beef, Lamb and Chicken are certified Halal meats (certificates available for inspection) and why Willie has designed a Vegetable Bake dish which is suitable for Vegetarians, Vegans, Coeliacs and those who are allergic to dairy, nuts and eggs. Most importantly we respect our client’s choices and you can always chat with us about special dietary requirements (and get a straight answer). If pork is cooked in the same spit as the beef – we will say so. And we would always cook a vegetarian pattie on a BBQ before other meats.

Our “thing” (some people call it a “Mission Statement”) is to provide generous sized meals of top quality foods using only staff who want to be there. Pretty simple eh?
